It is said that writers have the privilege of dreaming when wide awake. In my experience that is true, but I would like to add that one has to be wide awake to be able to dream. And hence one has to become intimately acquainted with “reality”. That involves asking oneself questions and never lying when answering them:
Am I who I want to be?
Am I following my dreams? Or have they merely become a theory without practice? Perhaps until now.
For it’s never too late. One just has to start. Take a step into the unknown and be open to the magic.
