Moving to an island…

Last Friday to Saturday my fiancé and I travelled to the Swedish island of Gotland. We had received an invitation from the university campus that Ninos has applied for to come visit.

Almost as soon as we sat foot on the island, we felt at home. The silence, the nature, the medieval architecture… Simply magical. Just what we have been longing for; a slower pace, another, more authentic, way to live. We’ll be relocating from Stockholm to Gotland some time this August! A new adventure begins…

I just thought I’d share a few pictures from the enchanted island:

Visby, which is the city where the university campus, is an old city - the city wall is on the UNESCO World Heritage list.

Beautiful ruins that speak to the soul and imagination :)
