On my wishlist of things I’d like to do this month was “to make/bake Christmas goodies” and one of those goodies is this one: chocolate-covered apples. Just because they remind me of going to Tivoli in Copenhagen, watching all the Christmas lights and eating their version of this apple: caramel covered ones.

Here’s the recipe:

4 apples.
100 g of dark chocolate.
Some sticks to do the job as handles (I gathered mine in the forest).
Your own choice of decoration (I used grated coconut).

Wash the apples, remove the stems and push the little branches into where the stem was. Melt the chocolate and dip the apples into it. (Make sure the apples are dry). Then dip/roll the apples in your preferred topping or decoration, put them on a piece of tin-foil or on a plate and let the chocolate harden. Then – eat and enjoy!
